Fall Free Dress Day

Help us celebrate Fall in Florida on Monday, October 31st by showing off your favorite Fall Attire!

This is a free dress day for all students. Have fun and be creative (school-appropriate Halloween prints/images are fine) but please remember: no costumes and no scary, gory, or graphic images are allowed.

Students are expected to adhere to our Dress Code.

Cultural Fair

Our Cultural Fair is back! On Thursday, November 3, 2022, parents, friends, and families are all invited as our students present their projects related to studies of the Continents. This is one of our signature events, and we are incredibly excited to share it with our CMCS community.

Times are as follows:
8:45 - 9:40 am Middle School
9:45 - 10:40 am Upper Elementary
10:45 - 11:40 am Lower Elementary

We are looking for volunteers to assist with parking for this event. Please email giving@cmcsmontessori.com if you are interested.

Field Trips

Field Trips are back!

We are so excited to bring back field trips for our CMCS students. We recently sent out ParentSquare posts for students in Grades 3, 6, 7, & 8 for some of our most anticipated trips.

Please check those posts for details and to sign up/pay.

Deposits are due on ParentSquare on Friday, November 4th.

Cold Weather Gear

REMINDER:

On uniform days, students may ONLY wear the official CMCS hoodie and/or uniform pullover sweatshirt. No other hoodies or sweatshirts/pullovers are allowed on uniform days. If they wear a jacket, it must be able to zip/button from top to bottom. Leggings or sweatpants cannot be worn as pants on uniform days but are appropriate for free dress days. Wall Plaque Fundraiser

Support our 2022-2023 Wall Plaque Fundraiser! Wall plaques are a great way to support CMCS to make up for the financial deficit that we, as a charter school, experience. On average, we only receive 75-80% of funding that other district schools receive. For a $1,000 donation, you will receive many perks -- the most important one being the support of our students and teachers. We met our goal by selling 101 plaques.

Please note this important car line information:

  • If you are in front of the school and in the LEFT lane, you MUST turn LEFT out of the school.
  • If you are in front of the school and in the RIGHT lane, you MUST turn RIGHT out of the school.
  • Please use the parking lot for overflow and zipper merge into car line.
  • When you are in the loading/unloading zone, you MUST put your car in PARK. A staff member or Safety Patrol will open your car door; students should never open their own doors.
  • Do NOT use your cell phone, iPad etc. while in car line.
  • You MUST have a current year, school-issued car sign to pick up your child in car line. Please hang from the mirror or put in an easily visible spot the car signs for ALL students you are picking up that day.

Advertising Opportunities! Banner Advertising

CMCS would like to offer local businesses an opportunity to advertise with a banner along our main thoroughfare of the school. The cost of the banner is $300. If you own a business or know a business that would be interested in advertising,
