Media Release 

CMCS may submit press releases to local media (newspapers, radio, television, website, and online blogs) that include student names, student work, student photographs, and video/or voice recordings. If you DO NOT grant permission for CMCS to release your child’s name, photograph, schoolwork, and/or video recording please submit a Media Release Non-Consent Form (MIS Form #667) available on the District website at http://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/library/is/forms/mis_667.pdf. A signed form is considered valid for one (1) school year. 

Legal Notice 

Parents, students, and employees should regularly visit the public registry to review it for individuals who may have prior criminal records and sex offenses. Information concerning registered sex offenders and predators in Florida may be obtained by visiting http://www.fdle.state.fl.us, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Sexual Offenders database. Information may also be obtained by contacting the FDLE’s toll free telephone number: 1-888-FL-PREDATOR (1-888-357-7332).

Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.

Consider a medical evaluation for:

  • Fever that last 3 or more days
  • Drainage from the ear
  • Cough that continues for several days
  • Repeated episodes of diarrhea or vomiting
  • Rash
  • Itchy eyes with clear or cloudy drainage
  • Sore throat, with or without fever
  • “Cold” symptoms that last more than one week​

*A child who has fever with a temperature greater than 100 degrees (orally), has been vomiting, or has diarrhea should stay home for 24 hours AFTER the symptoms are gone.

*Children of all ages need 8-10 hours of sleep at night and good nutrition including adequate fluids (milk, juice, water).
