ART

Our choice-based Art program integrates the core of the Montessori philosophy along with embedding art skills for each level of student. Within the art class, students will gain exposure to art history, cultural studies, and famous artists. Students learn to work with an array of 2D and 3D mediums and elements and principles of art to open their minds up to the endless possibilities of what they can create.

MUSIC
The Music program focuses on General Music for the Lower & Upper Elementary students, and Choir/Musical Theatre for the Middle School/Secondary 1 students. Our program gives students the opportunity to study music theory, instruments across all instrument families and genres, and skills to develop their voice and performance abilities. Students connect with one another through song, dance, and play while learning of other cultures and countries in alignment with the Music Education and Montessori philosophy at the core.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Our engaging curriculum not only fosters physical fitness but also cultivates teamwork, leadership, and lifelong wellness habits. Join us as we inspire students to embrace a healthy, active lifestyle.

SPANISH
Our Spanish program provides students with the tools they need to communicate in both written and verbal form. Student work on listening, reading for comprehension, and expanding knowledge of the world through Hispanic culture, as we progress through the curriculum.

GARDENING
Gardening at CMCS gives the students the opportunity to dive hands-on into the calming work it takes to maintain and grow the needs of people and the earth. The students get to experience the excitement of tasting, seeing, and experimenting with the fruits of their labor within our garden.
